Quick Sail

Sometimes all you have time for is a quick sail. Sure you'd love to have a long weekend, or better yet a long week, of sailing but life doesn't always leave you with that kind of time. Often it's these very times when a quick sail is just what you need to crawl out of the rut of the daily grind. Yesterday's quick sail was just that quick and needed.

Perfect weather, not too hot and not too cold. Wind was 15 knots when leaving the harbor. Had a single tack past Huntington Beach Pier and a single tack back to Long Beach. By the time we came about to head back winds and increased to 30 knots and we were tight to the wind in 4-6 foot swells.

Once back in safe harbor we cleaned Bella up and headed for Taco Surf and Yogurtland. Both becoming two of our favorite after sail destinations.
